Recognizing that a traditional funeral often starts at $7,000—excluding cemetery fees and headstones—Sacred Memories was established to ensure that all families can honor their loved ones with a meaningful homegoing service without facing overwhelming financial burdens.

The vision for Sacred Memories was born from the passion and determination of Tiwana Collins. Since earning her Funeral Director and Embalmer license in 1997, Tiwana has devoted her career to helping families in their time of need. A proud graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service, she has built her reputation on compassion and professionalism.

After nearly two decades in the funeral industry, Tiwana stepped out on faith to establish Sacred Memories Funeral Home. For over nine years, she has remained committed to serving her community, ensuring that every family has access to a dignified farewell for their loved ones. As a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Tiwana continues to uphold the highest standards of care while making a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
